Course information:
The port engineering and procurement course focuses on all engineering aspects, making a port or terminal a well-oiled machine.
Starting from the concepts and specification, leading to the implementation and construction.
In addition, the course will also focus on post-commissioning strategies: maintenance and maintenance contracts, asset management and delivering highly available and performing infrastructure and equipment to the operational departments.
Another aspect of this course is to go deeper into the workings of procurement, allowing you to be able to fully understand its importance in a port strategy.

Being designed for professionals practising in the port and coastal engineering industry, this course seeks to improve the knowledge of those responsible for port/harbour design and management.

The course fee is fixed at 100.000 Rupees per participant and includes course material, lunches, refreshments, coffee and tea during the breaks and the work visits. Participants of Indian Major ports may apply for a special scholarship for attending the courses.
