Starting from a clear definition of a strategy and the objectives, leading towards a successful implementation.
The true definition of a master plan is that it explains the reason of the existence of a port to the stakeholders involved. The course focuses on the full development of a port master plan and the consequential implementation steps.
As a participant, you will get optimal solutions by using existing resources in the most efficient way. These will form the basis for employers and clients during the decision-taking process. The methods used are considering social, economic, financial, environmental and technical inputs in an integrated manner and analysing risks and opportunities.

After the seminar, participants will have acquired the following skills and knowledge: to understand the true meaning of a master plan and its composing layers. How to use the master plan as a strategic, technical, commercial, communication and marketing instrument.

The course fee is fixed at 100.000 Rupees per participant and includes course material, lunches, refreshments, coffee and tea during the breaks and the work visits. Participants of Indian Major ports may apply for a special scholarship for attending the courses.
